Competent but Needs Improvement
Amy A. Mortimore, K.C. is clearly knowledgeable in trusts and estates, given her recognition by Best Lawyers in Canada and her experience at Clark Wilson LLP. She handled my estate planning needs with a solid understanding of the legal nuances, especially in cross-border tax implications. However, communication was occasionally slow, and I had to follow up multiple times for updates. The wait times between consultations were also longer than expected, which made the process feel a bit drawn out. While her expertise is evident, she could improve on responsiveness to ensure clients feel prioritized. Overall, a competent lawyer but with room for better client service.
