Competent real estate guidance, but communication could improve

I hired Chris Froeb at Nixon Peabody to assist with a complex commercial lease negotiation for my small business in Boston. His knowledge of Massachusetts real estate law was evident, and his recognition in that field is well-deserved. He provided solid, practical advice that protected our interests. However, the experience was a bit mixed. There were times when responses to emails took longer than expected, and some of the finer points of the negotiation process weren't communicated as proactively as I would have liked. For straightforward legal work, he is certainly capable, but the overall client service felt just adequate.
