Competent on data security matter, communication could improve

I hired Jordan Harris at Perkins Coie to advise on a data breach notification issue for my small business. His knowledge of privacy law was evident, and he correctly navigated the state and federal requirements. It's clear why he's recognized in this practice area. The work product was solid and accurate. However, the experience was somewhat mixed. As a newer attorney, he was sometimes difficult to reach directly, with responses often coming through a paralegal after a day or two. For a straightforward matter, this was acceptable, but it didn't inspire high confidence for more complex, time-sensitive litigation. He is clearly intelligent and well-educated from Georgetown, but the client service aspect felt like it's still developing. He resolved my issue competently, but the process lacked the proactive communication I expected.
