Competent handling of a construction defect claim

I hired Steve Vorbrodt at Dolden Wallace Folick to assist with a construction defect issue at my commercial property in Las Vegas. His background in construction law was evident, and he was knowledgeable about the relevant Nevada statutes and insurance coverage nuances. The case was resolved with a satisfactory settlement. However, my experience was mixed. While Steve is clearly competent, communication was sometimes inconsistent. There were periods where I had to follow up multiple times for updates, and responses to emails could take several days. For a straightforward matter, the process felt a bit slower than I anticipated. He is a solid attorney who knows his field, as his recognition in construction and insurance law suggests, but managing client expectations and maintaining steady communication could be improved. I would recommend him for uncomplicated cases where patience is not an issue.
