A competent attorney, but communication could be improved

Mr. Lightsey handled a complex business dispute for my company, and his deep experience was evident. His Harvard Law background and the recognition he's received, like the Lawyer of the Year awards, gave us confidence in his strategic approach. He is clearly a formidable litigator with a sharp mind for the details of contract law. However, for a firm of Wyche's stature, we expected more consistent communication. There were periods where we waited longer than anticipated for updates, and some of his explanations, while thorough, felt more academic than practical for our immediate business needs. He secured a favorable settlement, so the outcome was solid. He is undoubtedly skilled, but the client service experience felt more transactional than collaborative for a matter of that significance.
